What impact can my donation to the Red Cross have?

Any gift you can make will support our services to help people in the UK and overseas. Here are just some of the ways your donations can make a difference:

• £10 could provide a hygiene kit to a family of five, giving them supplies to stay healthy for a month

• £20 could provide five blankets to families taking shelter

• £30 could provide 3,600 chlorine tablets to ensure that families have access to clean, safe water

• £100 could provide sleeping mats for 66 people who have been forced from their homes

• £210 could provide a fully equipped first aid kit, including supplies, to a first aider treating those wounded

Anna's Story

Anna and her two young daughters fled their home in Kyiv when the war in Ukraine began. Arriving in Poland, they spent their first night in a gym that had been turned into a makeshift shelter.

When the family found a place to stay in Warsaw, the Red Cross was there to provide Anna and her children with essentials such as food, toiletries and sanitary products. Anna was among the first people in the country to receive a Red Cross cash card, which will help her with costs like school supplies, food and give her the chance to let her children enjoy some of the activities they did back in Ukraine.

Where will my donation go?
