Our network of incredible staff and volunteers means we are uniquely placed to reach people in fearful, uncertain times.

UK Coronavirus Appeal: key facts
- 2.4 million people in the UK were experiencing poverty before the pandemic. Today, around 670,000 more are living in extreme poverty
- We’re working in over 100 UK hospitals, and have helped 73,726 people home safely since March 2020
- During the Covid-19 crisis, we’ve supported 27,526 refugees, people seeking asylum, survivors of trafficking and their dependants
- More than half of UK adults (55%) find it hard to talk about their problems, leaving people feeling isolated and lonely at this difficult time
